Martin Grey

Hi! I’m Martin. I’m from a small town in the south of England, but have been living in Nottingham since 2002.

I’ve been an English teacher since 2019 and have always had a passion and curiosity for language. I enjoy making creative, interesting and fun lessons where I can share this passion and help people learn. I think the best way to learn a language is to try hard, be confident and remember that it’s ok to make mistakes. I once told my Spanish teacher that I ate soap every day of my holiday, it’s totally fine!

I’m also a performance poet, writing, performing and teaching poetry around the city.
